Showers to end early Monday, skies begin to clear

Well, we may not have gotten our first snowfall but at least we got some much-needed precipitation. As of this writing at 4:00am, Thornton has received 0.35 inches of rain over the past 12 hours or so. Thank goodness!

Today we will dry out but remain a good bit cooler than normal. A few lingering rain showers, maybe with a few flakes mixed in, will be possible until about 8:00am when things will then come to an end.

Skies start out cloudy but then we will see steady clearing leading to mostly clear skies by early afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the mid-40s.

Tonight, we remain calm and dry with mostly clear skies above. Lows will dip to the mid-20s.
