Following yesterday’s thunderstorms, we cool down today. Moisture remains abundant though and another round of storms is expected.
Partly sunny skies start us off and will be with us through the morning. Conditions will initially be calm with highs topping out in the mid-70s.
Thunderstorms will again develop after noon. Best chances come from about 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Some of these storms will again have the potential to turn severe with large hail, damaging wind and brief, heavy rain. How strong the storms get will depend on how much daytime heating we receive to get things brewing.
Tonight, storms will begin to taper off after 9:00pm but some activity may potentially be seen throughout the night just like last night. Lows will be in the mid-50s.
