Thornton’s weekend to offer up seasonal temps, maybe a chance for precip Sunday

A pretty good looking first weekend of November for us. Today and Saturday look quite pleasant with temps near normal. Sunday our next storm system arrives late and brings a chance for moisture.

For Friday, we will enjoy lots of sun above and calm conditions. Highs will top out around the 60 degree mark. Tonight, lows dip to just below freezing under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday looks much like today but a bit warmer. Look for highs in the low 60s under sunny skies. Some breezy winds will be seen late in the day. Saturday night, cloud cover increases and lows will dip to the mid-30s.

Sunday starts off nice enough with partly cloudy skies. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s. The afternoon we begin to feel the effects of our next storm system. Winds will be picking up and clouds increasing. Some light showers will be possible in the afternoon into the evening.

Overnight Sunday into Monday morning, showers are expected to increase and, hopefully, bring us some measurable precipitation. Monday morning may actually see some light snow.

Have a great weekend!
