A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of the northeast and east central Colorado plains, Palmer Divide, and southern Front Range foothills from 2 pm to 10 pm today. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop over the area this afternoon and evening. Heavy rainfall rates of 1–2" in 30 minutes, on top of yesterday's rainfall, may lead to localized flash flooding. Remember to never drive on flooded roads. Turn Around Don't Drown!
