Strong and gusty winds will continue across the Front Range mountains and foothills early this morning, with peak gusts reaching 50-70 mph in wind prone areas. The winds will weaken a little later this morning into the afternoon, but at the same time spread across the plains. Fire danger will be near critical levels given the gusty winds, so use extreme caution with any outdoor activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
