The most likely areas for critical conditions will be areas along and south of Interstate 70, from South Park and the southern Front Range Foothills eastward across the Palmer Divide and east central Colorado. Rain and mountain snow showers develop this afternoon over northern Colorado, along with isolated thunderstorms. Snow becomes widespread over the mountains and foothills tonight with light snow possible after midnight across the lower elevations. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday The next storm will bring mostly light snow to the forecast area Friday well into Saturday along with much colder temperatures. Snowfall accumulations of 7 to 13 inches are possible in the high country by Saturday. There will be scattered showers over the mountains Sunday through Wednesday, with some over the plains Tuesday and Wednesday. Winter travel conditions are expected in the mountains and foothills, extending into the I-25 corridor Friday well into Saturday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
